All Saints.
Every Sunday.
Six o’clock.

We are a young Episcopal church in Amsterdam seeking to walk the talk of the Gospel. From celebrating the Eucharist to comparing the Gospel of Luke to a Beatles track, and from listening to LGBTQIA+ migrants to cleaning up the city, we gather every Sunday at 6 for a wide variety of events. We’re currently not offering services.

If you want to be comfortable, go to a country club. If you want to be uncomfortable, go to church.

— The Reverend Canon Mpho Tutu van Furth, founding priest of All Saints Amsterdam

Deepen your spiritual practice with people who are curious about your questions and doubts

At All Saints, we cherish the traditional practice of studying Scripture together. Formulating an understanding of what religion and spirituality mean to us paves the way for what we’re really about: investing in our communities with action and companionship.

Engage in the age-old rituals and practices of the Anglican tradition

As a mission church of the Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe, we hold the Anglican ways of liturgy close to our heart. The Book of Common Prayer is central to everything we do together. We’ve found, even as people who haven’t grown up in the tradition, that coming together to dwell in those familiar prayers is a special way to find respite in our busy lives.

Put your faith into action with low-commitment volunteering opportunities around the city

At All Saints, we belief firmly in the value of serving as a community-building activity. Join us for a city clean-up, catering to people experiencing homelessness, or helping LGBTQIA+ migrants make Amsterdam their home.

We like to pray with our ears, and praise with our hands.

We firmly believe being a Christian is about more than showing up for Sunday morning service and taking delight in a community that agrees with you every step of the way. We don’t just offer inspiration for how you can bring your faith to life, we actively design our gatherings with that very purpose.

Where we gather

Home is Vrijburg, a beautiful Amsterdam hub for liberal and progressive Christians.

The first-ever church marriage between two people of the same sex? Happened here. We don’t just love Vrijburg for that, though. It’s a vibrant community space home to all sorts of communities and initiatives.

Visitor’s tip: use the entrance on the side of the church, on Herman Gorterstraat, and take the first staircase on the right. For the building’s elevator: go to the end of the hallway and turn right until you reach the elevator after about 5m.
